Melanie Dias
Senior Operations Director
A native of Visalia, California, Melanie Dias joins us with a strong background in agriculture and extensive marketing expertise. With roots in the dairy and hay industries, her deep understanding of California’s Central Valley market complements her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from California State University, Fresno. Melanie’s impressive career includes pivotal roles in brand management at Harris Ranch Beef Company and Ruiz Foods, where she was instrumental in product development and marketing strategy. Most recently, she served as Association Manager for California Future Business Leaders of America, further showcasing her leadership skills. Outside of work, Melanie enjoys family time, traveling, and volunteering at her children’s school. She and her husband reside on their family dairy farm in Visalia.

Samuel Marshall
Visual Media Manager
Samuel joined the Schuil Ag Real Estate team in May of 2021. Samuel graduated from Kingsburg High School in 2015 and received a degree in Art from the University of Oregon in 2020. During his time at Oregon, Samuel photographed hundreds of Oregon Ducks athletic events ranging from the 2020 Rose Bowl and multiple March Madness Tournaments. Since graduating from the University of Oregon, Samuel built up his own sports photography business. In the summer of 2020, Samuel worked for Family Tree Farms as a Marketing Assistant and documented their robust harvest season. Samuel looks forward to creating stunning imagery, video, and graphics of the many properties that Schuil Ag Real Estate represents.

Lindsey Swall
Marketing Associate
Lindsey brings a strong background in agricultural communications and a deep passion for California agriculture to her role as Marketing Associate. Raised in Tulare on a sixth-generation family farm, she developed a solid understanding of farming and the tree nut industry, further strengthened by her service as a California FFA State Officer. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications from California State University, Fresno, followed by a Master of Science in Agricultural Science with an emphasis in Agricultural Communications. Her professional experience includes serving as Social Media Manager and Photographer for Fresno State’s Department of Animal Sciences and Agricultural Education, Agricultural Communications Teaching Associate, and contributing to marketing efforts for the California Apple Commission, representing a variety of commodities such as blueberries, wild rice, and olives. Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys a variety of creative hobbies.

Nina Thiessen
Office Manager/Notary Public
Nina joined the Schuil Ag Real Estate office in 1986 working in the Kingsburg office as the Office and Property Manager. In 2008, Schuil & Associates consolidated their offices to the Visalia location. She now oversees the office of 15 agents and support staff. Nina graduated from Heald Business College with a degree in Legal Administration. In her free time, Nina enjoys spending time with her family.

Tracie Hettinga
Financial Controller
Tracie joined the Schuil Ag Real Estate team in 2015 as the Financial Controller. She works part-time in the office and loves to travel when she can. Tracie enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and especially – her grandchildren.

Cindy Schuil
Broker Assistant
Cindy Schuil (wife of Marc Schuil) received her BA in English Literature in 1983 from CA State University Northridge. After graduating, she happily became a stay-at-home mom until 2007 when her youngest child went to college and she was gently steered to the Schuil Ag Real Estate office by Marc and became the company bookkeeper. In 2015, Cindy became a licensed agent and now works exclusively for Marc as a broker assistant. Cindy enjoys traveling to the coast and the Pacific Northwest and loves taking a cruise with friends.
